Just curious how many people here have or are going to one or more away games this season? I am planning on going to Syracuse and Binghamton in March and may be putting Philly on my calendar in February. If the Bears are still playing well I may want to go Rock their House!

If you have never been to Binghamton before you will have a greater appreciation for the Giant Center. The Broom County arena is absolutely the worst arena in the AHL.(small ice/bad boards). I will give it to their fans, they are loud as hell and have some amusing chants. (my favorite, 'Start the bus bonvie, start the bus')

if you go to Philly just wear old shoes and dont let them sit in one spot for too long. they will stick to the floor. i dont think that place has ever been cleaned. i went to a friday night game last year in philly and the place was basically dead except 6000 kids yelling for spongebob at stoppages

Sounds like I will really be appreciating the Giant Center after I make it to a couple of away games, Thanks for the tips! After Giant Center was built I had to admit I was impressed. Nice big arena and comfy seats, and they manage to keep it clean. I gotta hand it to our ushers too, they have always been super friendly to me and answer all the stupid questions I can throw at them.
